Muah AI Review 2026: Pricing, Safety and What Uncensored Means

Muah's homepage describes creating a fictional character and exploring conversations through text, voice, generated photos and video.^[1] The guide, reviewed October 3, 2026, adds a character creator, community characters, photo styles, photo-to-video at 5, 10 and 15 seconds, and up to ten character slots.^[2] Live calls open "if your account has access".

Two things the marketing pages skip. The terms, still dated May 17, 2022, name the operator only as "MUAH.AI", give United States law with arbitration and no state, and list a single contact, love@muah.ai.^[3] And the help centre, updated August 17, 2026, says there is no native iOS or Android app, only a mobile site and an Android APK, and that apps currently in the Apple and Google stores impersonating Muah are scams.^[4]

The homepage says you can open the demo without an account, and that cloud sync and paid tools may need a sign-in or a plan.^[1] The guide is honest that free chat can have guest prompts, message limits, photo-generation quotas, locked photos or call allowances, and that free accounts can hit generation limits.^[2]

What it never gives is a number. We checked the homepage, the guide, the NSFW and uncensored pages, the help centre and the store, and none of them state a daily or monthly free message cap. The help centre does say a referral link can earn VIP for free.^[4] Treat "free" as a taste whose size Muah has not published.

These are the prices on card.muah.ai, checked October 25, 2026. Muah's guide warns that plan names, prices and quotas can change, and that the guide itself will not treat a price table as permanent.^[2] The in-app checkout is not visible without an account.

Basic VIP is listed at $9.99 a month, struck through from $19.99, with unlimited chat, unlimited enhanced photo generation, and "3x more" voice generation that resets daily.^[5] A combined product page instead shows Basic "from $19.99 a month", so the sale price is not the only figure Muah publishes. GPT4 VIP is $49.99 a month, or $499 a year, with expanded memory and "10x more" voice.^[6] Ultra VIP is $99.99 a month, or a $999 one-year pass, with maximum memory, real-time phone calls and a 30 to 60 minute call cap that resets daily.^[7]

Do not take the model name on the label literally. The same tier is described as GPT 4 on one product page and GPT 5 on another. Some extras, including extra character slots, music and certain media upgrades, spend XP levels rather than the subscription, at 1,000 XP per level.^[2] Muah does not publish a price for buying XP. Longer videos cost more: 10 seconds is twice a 5-second clip, 15 seconds three times.

The homepage says Muah offers uncensored companion chat and NSFW features for adults.^[1] The help centre says "We don't have any censors in place", and that a refusal comes from the AI's own data rather than a filter on Muah's side.^[4] The terms and the privacy policy both require users to be 18.^[3]

The page worth reading is the uncensored guide. It says "uncensored" describes creative freedom, not that every model, media tool or subscription behaves the same way, and it answers its own question in one line: "Does uncensored mean unlimited? No."^[8] Photo X-Ray and Advanced X-Ray, the optional adult image tools, have their own access rules and sometimes an XP requirement.^[2] The video tool warns that turning on sensitive scenes can reduce quality.^[9] Character cards must be 18 or older, and cards of underage characters are deleted.^[10]

The guide is plain: the chatroom selects messages within a membership-based token budget, the AI does not receive unlimited history, and a beta "memory compaction" setting can summarise what fell out.^[2] Higher tiers advertise "Expanded AI Memory" and "Maximum AI Memory" without a token count. An older card page claims "800% expanded memory", also without a baseline.^[6]

The help centre, updated the same summer, still says Muah uses "permanent" memory and that without token limits the AI remembers everything you have given it.^[4] Those two pages cannot both be right. The guide is the newer, more specific one. Plan on a window that grows with the plan, not on a perfect record.

This is the section that decides it for a lot of people. Have I Been Pwned lists a verified breach of Muah.AI in September 2024, added on October 8, 2024.^[11] The record shows 1,910,261 affected addresses. The data classes are AI prompts, email addresses and sexual fetishes. HIBP's description says many of the prompts were highly sexual, and that many described child exploitation. It is flagged as a sensitive breach, so it is not publicly searchable by email.

We looked for Muah's own account of it: the homepage, the guide, the terms, the privacy policy, the help centre and the landing page. None of them mention a breach. The help centre, updated August 17, 2026, nearly two years later, still answers "Is my data safe?" with "Yes."^[4]

What Muah does say about data, on that same page: all memories may be used for LLM training, chats are encrypted and stored on a cloud server (it does not say whether that means in transit, at rest, or end to end), uploaded photos and videos are wiped every seven to thirty days, and generated photos are wiped every few weeks. It says it does not monitor chat logs except when a user reports a bug. The privacy policy, still dated May 17, 2022, promises only "reasonable" security and says absolute security cannot be guaranteed.^[12] You can delete the account from companion settings, and the guide has a control that wipes cloud history for the connected account.^[2]

Feature for feature, few companion apps list this much in one place. You can build her, chat, hear voice messages, ask for photos in realistic or anime styles, turn a photo into a short video, and on Ultra call her, with a daily cap.^[2][7] Basic VIP's inclusion of unlimited enhanced photo generation is more generous than the token meters on Candy, OurDream or DreamGF.

The guide is also better than most. It tells you which tools need a plan, which spend XP, and that uncensored is not the same word as unlimited. You can export a conversation from the browser, and there is a safe-for-work mode that hides some of the adult tools.

The breach is the largest gap, and the silence around it is part of the gap. Close behind: you cannot know the free limit before you start, you cannot know which model a "GPT" tier actually runs, and the help centre and the guide disagree about whether memory is permanent. Paid voice still resets daily. Live calls exist only on the $99.99 tier and stop at 30 to 60 minutes a day.

The terms let Muah suspend access at any time, with or without cause, and without notice.^[3] Subscriptions are not refundable, with one-time exceptions at Muah's discretion.

If you are here because the breach, the XP meter or the memory window put you off, JustHoney is the straightforward version of the same idea. On a plan those are part of the chat, not a token or an XP level per picture.^[13]

The first 25 messages are free after sign-up, with no card; adult chat and her photos need a plan, and an age check comes first. Section 12 of the terms, still carrying the May 17, 2022 date, says consumer subscriptions are not refundable, and that you can cancel any time by emailing love@muah.ai, inside the settings page, or through the payment provider.^[3] Support may issue a partial or full refund as a one-time exception. Cancelling the plan and deleting the account are separate: account deletion is in companion settings, and the guide's "Wipe Cloud Data" control deletes cloud history for the connected account.^[2][4]
